Oak Hollow Yacht Club

Oak Hollow Yacht Club was organized in 1974 in co-operation with High Point Parks and Recreation.  We are a public club formed to promote and enjoy the sport of sailing.  Our members sail many different types of craft, which include monohulls, catamarans and windsurfers.  Membership includes free boat launching at OHYC sponsored events held at Oak Hollow Lake.  Oak Hollow Lake is an 800 acre of open water.  Swimming and jet skis are not permitted.

Regattas are held the 3rd weekend of every month at the sailing point off of Waterview Road.  Summer races consist of three races on Saturday.  Launch fees are waived for OHYC members.  Guest are welcome to participate in one regatta for free.

Oak Hollow Lake Park and Marina - 800 acre lake with boating, skiing, sailing, fishing, family campground with 90 sites, indoor/outdoor tennis center, 18-hole Pete Dye golf course, picnic areas and two overlook park areas off Eastchester Drive.
